First of all, thank you all for visiting my blog. I've liked photography since many years, but been into serious photography for a couple of years now. I know that it's not a long period or huge experience or anything, but I thought that what I learnt and what I know and what I would like to know would be easier if I share it through a blog. Maybe I'm wrong, but well...
I've heard a lot of people talking about being specialised in a certain type of photography, but in my case I like all types of photography and that is probably a problem as well, especially when I'm walking about with a whole bunch of lenses in my backpack and it kills my back! I normally do macros, so far experimenting in macros, landscapes, wildlife, cultural, abstract, portrait, fashion and still-life.
By the way, you have probably gotten from the name of the blog that I'm a Nikon fan, but it doesn't mean that I don't like any other brand or anything, it's just that I have a Nikon and use it. I like the weight, the ergonomics, I like the way Nikon works, it just seems like an extension of my hand, so blended in when you hold it.
I do a lot of practice myself in lightroom and photoshop. I didn't go to any school for photography or creative design or any such type of studies, but youtube is my guru. There are some great videos in youtube, for example tutvid.com which provides great lessons in photoshop and karlphotography.com which give a lot of good tips for photographers and they are certainly worth checking out.
So here onwards my plan is to put something new or add something new every day to this blog to share with you all. It might be something you already know and probably do differently, it might be something that you don't know. Whichever way, I think it is good to do something and learn something from you guys too.
